R.I.P. Harold Ramis

I don’t usually do this sort of thing, but seeing as how Ghostbusters is my favorite movie of all time, it seemed appropriate. If you haven’t heard, Harold Ramis died today. Ramis, of course, played Egon Spengler in the Ghostbusters films, as well as directing such classics as Caddyshack and Groundhog Day.

harold-ramis-2His passing was unexpected and tragic; Ramis was only 69 years old, and should have had a lot more to give the world. He was reportedly working on Ghostbusters 3 alongside Dan Akroyd, and it remains to be seen what will happen with the film now. Regardless, Harold Ramis was taken much too soon. Rest in peace Harold, nerds all over the world are thankful for everything you’ve done.
